The Canadian methodology seeks to create connections and an environment conducive to the development of children and young people. Maple Bear students are placed in an environment where a new language is used, and the children progressively take ownership of the language, not just by memorizing vocabulary and grammatical structures, but by assimilating the nuances and subtle meanings of the language.
